Speed trivia: how many can you answer?

Three or five minutes on the clock, three lives, and questions that start easy and get harder. Answer fast, move on, and see how far you get.

Trivvy’s speed trivia, called Quiz Rush, is a free online quiz played against the clock. You get three or five minutes and three lives, and the questions start easy and get harder. You type each answer, a wrong answer costs a life, and your final score can be compared with others on the leaderboard.

How Quiz Rush works

Quiz Rush is trivia against the clock. You get one question at a time and type the answer as fast as you can. Press Enter and the next question is already there – you never wait for anything. A right answer gives you points; a wrong one costs one of your three lives. When you run out of lives or time, the round is over.

The questions climb in difficulty as you go. The first ones are warm-ups, then they get trickier, and the last stretch is for people who really know their stuff. Every right answer is one point, so the score is simply how many you got right.

Fast judging, no waiting

Because every second counts, the judging in Rush is done instantly by fixed rules rather than by an AI. Small typos and common alternative spellings are still accepted, but a completely different way of saying the answer may not be – so keep it short and precise.

If you get a question wrong, you see the right answer for a moment while you are already on the next one. At the end you get the full list of questions with your answers and the solutions, so you can learn from the ones you missed.

Beat your own record

Trivvy keeps your statistics for today, this week and all time: points, your longest streak of right answers and the hardest question you solved. You get one free Rush round a day, which makes each attempt count. Choose three minutes for a quick burst or five for a longer run.

Rush against someone else

Want an opponent? Quiz Battle is the same race, but against another player at your level, with the same questions for both of you. You can follow their score and lives while you play.
