Trivia challenge: same questions, your own time

Make a quiz, send the link, and let your friends play it whenever they want. When everyone is done, you see who knows the most.

With Trivvy’s trivia challenge you make a quiz, send a link, and friends play it whenever they like on their own phone. It is free and needs no app. Everyone answers the same questions by typing, and once your friends have finished you can see who knows the most.

How a challenge works

Choose a category and a difficulty, and Trivvy draws one fixed set of questions. Share the link in a group chat, by message or on social media. Everyone who opens it plays exactly the same questions, on their own phone, whenever it suits them – no need to be online at the same time.

The link never reveals anyone's score. You only see the standings after you have played yourself, so nobody can peek at the scores before they play. The challenge stays open for seven days.

Perfect for groups that never meet at the same time

Challenges work well for friends in different time zones, a family group chat, colleagues, or a teacher who wants a class to play the same quiz as homework. Several classes can take the same challenge on the same day.

If you have friends on Trivvy, you can pick them when you create the challenge. They get a notification, and you can see who has played and who has not played yet.

Fair for everyone

Everyone gets the same questions, and every answer is judged the same way: typos and alternative names are accepted, and an AI judge decides the unclear cases. Each person can only play a challenge once.

Free, no sign-up

You do not need an account to create or play a challenge. When you are done, you can see your answers next to the correct ones, and share your result to tempt more people to try it.

A tip for hosts: pick a category your friends care about – films for the movie buffs, sports for the fans, or a specific country for people who grew up in the same place. The more personal the topic, the more people take the challenge.
